The Viability-Score-derived input to Signal Fusion. One of four components that combine into the composite ranking number.
Viability Component is the slice of Signal Fusion that comes from the Viability Score. It is normalised to a 0-1 weight so it can blend cleanly with the other three components (prediction, vote, star velocity). The component weight and the raw Viability Score are both exposed in the Signal Fusion breakdown so a reader can see which signal moved a paper up or down.
